Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupfinely chopped ivy gourd(tondli)
  • 1/2 cupfinely chopped carrot
  • 1/2 cupgrated cucumber
  • 1/4 cupgrated coconut
  • 1/4 cupfinely chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 2green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tbsplemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tbspoil
  • 1 pinchasafoetida (hing)

Steps

  1. 1

    In kadhai heat oil add asafoetida. Add chopped ivy gourd and carrot. Saute on low flame.. until they changed colour.

    Off the flame and cool.

    Add grated cucumber, coconut, chopped green chillies, coriander leaves, salt, lemon juice to cooled ivy gourd and carrot mixture. Mix well.

    Remove in serving bowl. Serve Delicious Ivy gourd- Carrot Kachumber.
