Steps

Wash the soaked rajma nicely in running water and put it in pressure cooker.

Add 3-4 cups water,salt to taste and keep on flame. Let it cook for 3 -4 whistles on medium flame.

In a heavy bottomed pan/ kadai, add oil,tej patta, a cinnamon sticks and black pepper, saute it for a while.

Add onions and cook till they are soft and golden.

Now, add ginger, garlic, green chillies crushed or paste as per your convenience.

Saute it for a while, till the raw fragrence goes away.

Now, add tomatoes puree. And all the masalas. Cook till everything comes together! Like a thick paste.

Now,add boiled rajma. Add it's broth to adjust the consistency.

Add salt, chat masala and kasuri methi.

Cook on medium flame for about 10 mins. Till the gravy turns thick !

Enjoy it with plain rice.
