Soak all the ingredients overnight or atleast for 12 hours.

Blend in a mixer and make a paste. Keep this paste for at least 10 hours for proper rising and fermentation.

Now add water to make a thin paste. Take a small bowl of batter and spread on pan in circular motions

Add oil on top.

Cook on medium flame for 2-3 mins. Add alu masala if you wish or shredded cheese.

Enjoy with sambhar.
