Chickpea Fatteh with Beef

Spread the cooked chickpeas in the bottom of a serving dish.

Add a layer of toasted pita bread on top.

Crush the garlic well, then mix it with 1 tablespoon tahini, plain yogurt, and about 1/4 cup water. Stir until smooth, then pour the yogurt mixture over the bread.

Shred the cooked beef into thin strips. Sauté with a little butter and a small clove of garlic, then place the beef on top of the yogurt layer.

Garnish with toasted (or fried) mixed nuts and chopped parsley.
