This is helping Bo (my son) series. Very common homemade dish in japan. Only if you can find gobo (burdock). Lots of fiber so good for body!

Ingredients

  1. 1/2-1 stickgobo
  2. 1/3-1/2of carrot
  3. 1 teaspoonOil sesame oil better)
  4. 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  5. 1 teaspoonmirin
  6. 1dry chilli pepper
  7. 1 tablespoonblack or white sesame

Cooking Instructions

    Scrub the gobo skin well and using the back of knife scrape the skin. Cut gobo and carrot about 1 1/2 inch length then cut them thin like the picture.

    Heat the pan with oil then start frying both gobo and carrot for 5-7 minutes. Add soy sauce and mirin and cook a few minutes more. Taste it and add soy sauce if you like. Add sesame and stir.
