Ingredients

20 minutes
5 servings
  • 1/2 cupchana dal
  • 1/4 cuprice
  • 1/2 cupsooki
  • 2 tbspfresh methi (fenugreek)leaves
  • 1/2 cuppurple cabbage chopped
  • 1/4 cupcabbage chopped
  • 1/4 cupcapsicum chopped
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1onion chopped
  • 1green chilli chopped
  • 1 tbspcumin powder
  • 1 tspchat masala
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/4 cupchopped fresh coriander leaves
  • as neededOil for frying
  • As neededfor serving Tomato sauce and onion slices

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and soak chana dal and rice for 1 hour then make the paste, and in another bowl soak the suji.

    In a bowl pour the dal paste,soaked suji, salt to taste, chilli and all above ingredients, mix well, ready for make pakoda.

    Heat oil in a kadai. Pour small portion of mixture fry till golden brown in colour. Serve hot with onion and tomato sauce.
