#ldcravings1 This is my most most favourite food which I would love to have when I am out. Those street shopping and the hunger for these Kachori's immersed in that aloo ki sabzi gravy topped with finely chopped onions and green chillies with a sprinkle of masala and squeeze of a lemon...o my god😂 likte hue hi mooh mein pani a gaya😋.
Steps
- 1
In a bowl combine Flour, salt and oil. Mix it until it fort like bread crumbs and hold in your hand when pressed. Sprinkle water little by little and make a smooth and tight dough. Keep aside covered with a samp cloth until you make the stuffing and sabzi.
- 2
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, ginger and green. Switch off the flame and add all the spice powders and salt. Now crush the Potatoes roughly with your hands and add them to the masala. Switch on the flame and saute for a minute. Add 1/2 cup of water and allow to boil.
- 3
Add chopped coriander leaves and squeeze half a lemon. Your sabzi is ready.
- 4
Now to make the filling you have to soak the moong dal for an hour and then drain and grind them to a coarse paste. Then heat a pan with oil and add fennel, finely chopped green chillies and ginger. Then add the ground paste.
- 5
Keep frying the paste and until it forms to a nice and crispy bread crumbs like texture. Then add all the spice powders and keep frying. Cool and grind again in a mixer, so that you get a good filling mixture.
- 6
Now take a portion of the dough and roll it out into size of a poori. Place the filling, fold and seal. Again roll to a small circle. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown and crisp from both sides.
- 7
Crush some Kachori's and add on a serving plate. Pour the potato gravy and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and chopped onions. Sprinkle some garam masala and chat masala with a squeeze of lemon. Done😋
