Masoor dal ki kachori

Add masoor dal with little amount of water in a pressure cooker for one whistle on medium high flame.

Heat oil in a pan, add onion, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder. Fry for one minute. Add pressure cooked masoor dal, amchur powder salt and garam masala, mix well. Fry for 2 minutes on medium flame. Turn off the flame. Stuffing is ready.

Take a bowl, add all the flour, sooji, ghee, salt, mix well. Add a little amount of water to make the dough soft. Rest for 10 mins.

Make small balls, roll it and fill the stuffing. Sealed from all the sides, roll it in poori shape.

Heat oil in a kadhai for deep frying. Put raw stuffed poori in the hot oil. Fry on medium-high flame till golden brown and crispy. Masoor dal ki kachori is ready to serve with mithi chutney. Enjoy!!!
