Put one tablespoon of sugar and half the milk (lukewarm) in a bowl and stir then add the yeast and let it sit for about 8 min to bloom.

Add in the melted butter, egg, remaining sugar and flour into the same bowl after the yeast has been activated (bloomed) and mix to combine.

Knead for a few minutes and transfer the dough to a lightly dusted surface and knead for about 7 minutes.

Leave the dough to rest in an oiled bowl, cover with a cling film for about an hour to rise.

Mix cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl. Dust your surface and roll out the dough. Apply butter on the top surface then spread the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture on top

Fold starting from the longer side of your dough.

Cut the dough in equal sizes using a knife and arrange the rolls in a baking tin or baking tray.

Let them rest for about 35 minutes. They will have increased in volume.

Brush the top with butter and bake at 200°C for 25 minutes.

For the glaze mix melted butter with icing sugar add milk to lighten the consistency and pour over the rolls while still warm. Enjoy
