Soyabeans Masala

#dals Dal and Legumes are something which we use in different ways in our cusines. It might be in liquid form or a sweet or a deep fried way. Including these in your diet is a must as it has lots of nutrients and is healthy for you. So today I am here with a super protein rich legume and it is non other than Soyabeans. Made a liquid masala using dry soyabeans in onion tomato masala and finally added coconut milk to give it a rich texture and taste. 😋

Made a liquid masala using dry soyabeans in onion tomato masala and finally added coconut milk to give it a rich texture and taste. 😋
Steps

Soak soyabeans overnight and cook for 4-5 whistles or until cooked. Heat a cooker. Add oil, splutter jeera, bay leafband add onion and ginger garlic paste. Fry until light brown in colour.

Add the tomato puree,salt and spice powders. Fry until oil leaves the sides of the pan.

Add the boiled soyabeans and mix everything well.

Add 1/2 cup of water and pressure cook for 1-2 whistles. You can use fresh coconut milk or readymade.

Now open the cooker and add the coconut milk and kasurimethi. Boil for a minute and done. Transfer to a bowl and serve hot with roti or rice😋
