Boil the vermicelli in water for 4-5 minutes with little bit of salt. Then strain them and wash them in cold water.

Heat a pan with oil and put asafoetida and punch phoran in it. When they crackle then add both chana and urad dal, curry leaves and dry chilli in it.

Saute it for 30 second and then add peanuts in it and saute them for sometime. Then add grated ginger and turmeric powder in it. Cook them for 2 minutes.

Then add boiled vermicelli along with salt in it.

Cook it for 5 minutes in medium to low flame and then switch off the flame and add lemon juice in it.

Your lemon vermicelli is now ready to serve. Serve hot.
