Besan-Chilli with Fried Rotis

Besan -Chilli(mirch) is my mom's recipe made by sauteing green chillies ( greenchillies we used in our regular cooking),in spiced besan mixture. Simple yet delicious side accompaniment with roti/ khakhras/ bhakhri.
Fried Rotis..leftover-rotis are deep fry to make crispy snacks for tea time snacks.

Steps

Wash and pat dry green chillies (that we use in regular cooking). Chopped in small pieces with scissors as shown.

In kadhai add heat oil. Add mustard and cummin seeds as splutter add asafoetida and chopped green chillies pieces. Saute for few minutes till chillies are tender.

Add tumeric powder, dhania jeera powder, jaggery and salt. Mix well. Add 2-3 tbsp water.

Add besan and mix well and cook for few minutes on slow flame. Off the flame. Serve in bowl.

For making fried rotis.. Heat oil in frying pan. Put one leftover-roti one at time. Fry on medium-low flame,flip once in between till crispy golden brown.

Serve/Relish Delicious Besan-Chilli with Fried Rotis in tea time.
