Mix all the ingredients (except soda) together in bowl and let the batter rest for 1 hour.

After an hour, add baking soda and extra water if required to bring it to a medium consistency.

Pour a ladle full of batter on hot tawa and pour a teaspoon of oil on it.

Now cover it and let it cook. Turn it over when lower side has turned golden brown in colour and cook the other side as well.

When it's done, remove it on a plate and pour half a teaspoon of ghee on it.

Delicious Rava Uttapa is ready! Serve it with coconut chutney or any pickle!
