In a pot, add the sugar and water. Allow to boil. Add the vanilla. Pour in the milk and mix it properly. Add more milk if required.

Pour onto parchment/baking paper or onto an oiled leather bag. Place another bag over it and press down with your palms before rolling it flat with a rolling pin. Cut it into desired shapes with a knife, pizza cutter or cookie cutters
