One of my sudaneese friend shared this recipe to me recently when I was tired of cooking Nigerian dishes and it was so amazing and simple when I tried it out and I just decided I should share it here it also, I hope this will also take your taste buds out of the world😋😋
GIMA (a sudaneese dish)
One of my sudaneese friend shared this recipe to me recently when I was tired of cooking Nigerian dishes and it was so amazing and simple when I tried it out and I just decided I should share it here it also, I hope this will also take your taste buds out of the world😋😋
Steps

Peel and cut potatoes, onion, carrots and green pepper in cubes, grind your scotch bonnet and garlic

Start by frying your cubed potatoes with little salt alone, fry, drain and set aside

In a pan add in little amount of oil add in your diced onion stir fry then add in minced meat and continue stirring until it changes color from red to brown then add in your garlic, green pepper and stir fry

Add in your carrots and continue stirring for 2 mins then pour in water(not much just to make the carrots soft) after 3 mins add in the Scotch bonnet, seasoning, and spices and continue stirring until the veggies are tender

On low heat add corn flour to the pan to make it thick then add in the fried potatoes and stir

Add your scrambled egg and turn off heat
