Take 2 cups of water add salt, remove scum from the dal and now add drained and soaked both dals in a cooker and pressure cook it for 10 minutes.

Take a pan heat 2 tbsp butter add tomato puree, coriander powder,red chilli powder and saute well till the fat separates and now add cooked dal add fenugreek powder. Add remaining butter and cream in dal.

Heat ghee in dal add whole red chilli and garlic add to the dal and garnish it with ginger and serve hot with roti
