Steps

Boil the potatoes and mash them.

Heat the pan and add oil.

Add cinnamon and clove.

Add onion thinly sliced, salt green chilli and tomato (optional) and mashed potatoes.

Grind coconut, roasted chanadal and fennel seeds to a coarse paste and add this mixture also.

Add water to your preferred consistency, give it a boil and turn of the heat. Finally garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
