Ingredients

25 minutes
3 servings
  • 1 cuprice, soaked
  • 2 cupwater
  • 2 cupthick curd
  • 2 tbspboiled milk (optional)
  • 2 tbspcoriender leaves, chopped
  • 1-2greenchilli, chopped
  • 1 tspginger, chopped
  • to tasteSalt
  • For Tempering:-
  • 1 tspMustard seeds
  • 1 tspginger, chopped
  • 8-10curry leaves
  • 1 tspurad dal
  • 1/2 tspsesame seeds
  • 1 tbspPomegranate kernels
  • Coriander leaves & boondi for Garnishing (optional)
  • 1/2 tbspghee/ oil

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly, wash and soaked rice for 20 minutes. Now take pressure cooker add rice and water cook for 4-5 whistle, Flame off, cold down the cooked rice.

  2. 2

    Now mash the cooked rice well and add curd, milk and salt add coriender leaves, green chili, ginger mix well.

  3. 3

    Heat oil, add mustard seeds allow to splutter. Now add urad dal and fry till golden.

  4. 4

    Add ginger and fry 2 min, curry leaves, sesame seeds stir well.

  5. 5

    Pour this tadka over curd rice. Add pomegranate, boondi and coriander leaves mix well.
