Ingredients

  1. 4-5watermelon skin (only white part)
  2. 1 cupsugar
  3. Water as required
  4. Food colour of your choice

    Take the watermelon waste part and peel the green part of watermelon and cut the white part into small cubes as shown in pic 3.

    Now boil them for 8 to 10 mins., till they become tender and transparent. Strain it and keep aside.

    Now heat a pan, add 2 cups of water and add a cup of sugar. Once the sugar gets dissolve, add those watermelon cubes into it and again let it boil in the sugar syrup for about 8 to 10 mins.

    Divide them into cups or small bowls as per requirement of colour of your choice as shown in pic 1. Now add a pinch of your required colour along with the sugar syrup as in pic 2. Now let it soak in the syrup for about 8 to 10 hours preferably overnight.

    In the morning strain all of them seperately and spread them in a plate and let them sun-dry it for about 24 hrs. And your tooti-frooti is then ready. 😍
