Soak urad dal for 2 hours and grind to a smooth batter by adding very little water. I added 1/4 cup of water. The batter should be smooth and fluffy. Add colour powder to the batter.

In a vessel, add sugar and water and boil to form sugar syrup, the consistency is 1/2 string to one string consistency.

In a kadai, add oil, when add the jangiri and fry. Then dip it in the sugar syrup. Jangiri is ready!!!
