Soak 1 cup basmati rice in water for 30 mins. Then drain and keep the rice aside.Add the drained soaked rice.

Heat oil in a pan.Add 1 bay leaf, 1 teaspoon clove,1 teaspoon cardamom,Cashew, Raisin.Now add chopped carrot,tomato and capsicum.Fry till the colour turns into brown

Stir fry till tomato get soft then add turmeric, red chilli powder, 2 teaspoon ginger chilli paste,salt to taste,3 teaspoon sugar.mix well.

Then add boiled rice mix it then add salt after that add lemon juice mix it one again cook for 2-3 min in medium to low flame

When rice turns yellow and vegetables are distributed evenly the new dish Lemon polao is ready to serve.
