Turkish Shawarma with Turkish Doner Bread

Mix the marinade ingredients and add the chicken slices, onion, and tomato. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or at least 3 hours.

Place the shawarma in a baking dish and cook in the oven until done and browned.

Prepare the bread dough to rise, then bake and cover with a clean cloth until ready to use. Prepare the French fries, chop the cabbage, mix together, add a pinch of sugar, and refrigerate before use. Then add a tablespoon of mayonnaise, vinegar, and yogurt, and mix well.

Cut the bread into triangles and carefully open it with a knife. Spread with garlic sauce, then add shawarma slices, cabbage, fries, and pickles as desired.

Serve with French fries or potato wedges and pickles, along with soft drinks or garlic yogurt.
