Ingredients

  1. 5_6 nos mango peeled
  2. 2green chilli
  3. 1 cupCoconut grated
  4. 1 cupThick curd not sour
  5. 5_6nos Pepper
  6. 1/2 tspjeera
  7. 1/2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
  8. 2_3 nos dry chilli
  9. 1/2 tspfeenkgreek
  10. 1 tspmustard seeds
  11. 5_6 nos curry leaves
  12. 2 tspsugar
  13. Salt as required
  14. 1/2 tbsp- turmeric powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Add mangoes with sugar,1/2tsp salt,turmeric, chilli paste made by grinding green chilli with little water in mixer and water for cooking mangoes.

    Grind coconut with pepper,jeera

    Add this mixture to the mangoes which has been cooked.Then cook for another 10 minutes till coconut mixture is cooked.

    Switch off the flame.Then add curd whisked with spoon or fork.Stir well.At this stage add salt as needed.

    For tempering add oil in a pan,when hot add mustard seeds,jeera,feenkgreek, dry chilli, curryleaves.Switch off the stove add kashmiri chilli powder.After adding tempering to mangoes close lid and keep aside for some time before serving.Serve this sweet tangy dish with a cup of rice.
