Lauki ka Halwa was my father's favorite, it is very healthy and nutritious and keeps us cool in summer.

Wash grated lauki and squeeze it completely and keep it aside.

Heat kadai add milk to boil then add grated lauki.

Stir it continuously on high flame and cook it for fifteen- twenty minutes till it becomes thick.

Add sugar and malai then again cook it for some time but stir it continuously, add green cardamom powder.

Add two spoons of pure ghee, your Halwa is ready.

Garnish it with dry fruits and serve it hot. You can keep it in the fridge and have it chilled whenever you want.
