Ingredients

  • 1 cupButter (Use Margarine or Coconut Oil for dairy-free option)
  • 1/2 cupBrown Sugar (packed) (Use Splenda or Stevia to reduce sugar)
  • 1 tsp.Vanilla
  • 3 cupsQuick Oats
  • 1 cupSemi-sweet Chocolate Chips (Use Sugar-Free Chocolate Chips to reduce sugar)
  • 1/2 cupPeanut Butter

    Melt butter in pan over low heat

  2. 2

    Stir in Brown Sugar and Vanilla

  3. 3

    Mix in Oats and allow to cook 2-3 minutes

  4. 4

    Press half the mixture into a greased 9x9 inch pan

  5. 5

    Melt Chocolate Chips and Peanut Butter. Stir well.

  6. 6

    Pour chocolate mixture over the pressed oats and spread evenly.

  7. 7

    Crumble the remaining oats over the chocolate layer.

  8. 8

    Cover and refrigerate a minimum of 2-3 hours to set.

  9. 9

    Remove from refrigerator and cut to desired size. (Cuts easiest if allowed to resume room temperature.)

  10. 10
