Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in clean water for 30 minutes. Add salt to taste and cook the rice until done. Let the cooked rice cool completely.

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle. Add the sliced onion and sauté until golden brown.

Add the chopped carrot, green beans, bell pepper, green peas, and cabbage. Mix well and cook the vegetables, stirring frequently, until they are tender.

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and pav bhaji masala. Sauté the spices with the vegetables until fragrant.

Add the cooked basmati rice, salt to taste, and lemon juice. Mix everything well and stir-fry for 2 minutes until the rice is heated through and well combined.

Serve the hot and flavorful veg tawa pulao with yogurt. Enjoy!
