A little romantic time for myself after a tiring week. Love myself
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper for about 10-15 minutes.
- 2
Heat a pan and add a little olive oil, spreading it evenly. Then, sear the steak for 2-2.5 minutes on each side, depending on your preference (remember not to move the steak). Sear both sides until cooked, then add a little unsalted butter, garlic (and rosemary if available), and drizzle over the steak before removing it to a plate (Remember not to cut the steak immediately, as cutting it too soon can cause the juices to run out).
- 3
Serve the steak with boiled potatoes and asparagus, along with a bit of black pepper sauce. Adding a glass of red wine would be perfect.

This is an abbreviated version of Chaliapin steak (a steak marinated in onions, a Japanese western-style dish). The sautéed onions form the base of the sauce, so sauté them slowly and patiently, taking care not to let them burn.As long as the onions are well sautéed, you can make a delicious sauce with just water, without needing any wine or sake. Beef Steak With Sauce Beef Steak With Sauce
My kids don't like ready-made sauce because it's too spicy for them. I created this recipe so that even my kids can enjoy delicious sauce.Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper right before you cook it.Adding the butter to the vegetable oil gives the meat a delicious looking brown color! It easy to burn so be careful! When the meat is seared, lower the heat. Recipe by fulilin mama cookpad.japan -

Beef Steak with the Perfect Sauce Beef Steak with the Perfect Sauce
I wanted to turn cheap Australian beef into a stylish and delicious meal.If you pound the steak and then return it to its original shape, it will be tender and juicy. For sides, try warm vegetables, mashed potatoes, spinach sautéed in butter, or whatever you'd like. For this dish, I used broccoli, carrots, and lightly cooked taro root. For 2 servings.
