Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash, peel and thinly slice your potatoes.
- 2
Pat them dry on kitchen towels or let them air dry if you have time. If you use them while wet, the water will make your batter thinner and it will slide off from your potatoes. Alternatively, you can air dry them if you're not pressed with time.
- 3
In a bowl, put gram flour, all purpose flour, salt, turmeric, cumin, chilli and garlic powders then mix together.
- 4
Add water in batches as you mix. Don't put too much water cause the batter will slide off the potatoes and they won't be coated neither should the water be too little, the batter will be thick and the potatoes won't cook through inside.
- 5
Add lemon then your coriander and give it a good mix.
- 6
Heat oil in a pan. Dip slices of potatoes into the batter then into the pan.
- 7
Remove from pan after 3 minutes or so depending on your heat.
- 8
Place them on paper towels to drain excess oil
- 9
Serve while hot. Enjoy!

Moist and Fluffy Apple and Tea Muffins Moist and Fluffy Apple and Tea Muffins
I make muffins quite often because they are tasty and easy to make. The combination of apple and tea is my favorite. Here, I held back on sugar and butter to make health conscious muffins.Use pretty moulds and present them to your friends as gifts!-When you add the eggs and milk, add in batches. It is not going to separate and you can proceed with the process easily.-If you want to make it sweeter, add more sugar to the apple filling and increase the sugar in the batter up to 60 g.-Use fine tea leaves.
