Mocha Banana Bread (Mocha Banana Cake) Easy Style by Joom

Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare a loaf pan by lining it with non-stick parchment paper and set aside.

Sift the flour, instant mocha, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and granulated sugar together twice and set aside.

Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl and set aside.

Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the vanilla extract, and whisk until the eggs are pale. Add the oil and milk, and continue whisking until combined.

Pour the egg mixture into the bowl with the mashed bananas and whisk until just combined.

Gradually add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients in three batches, folding gently until well combined.

Fold in the mixed nuts until just incorporated.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle with sliced almonds, and bake at 350°F for about 50 minutes to 1 hour. Check for doneness by inserting a skewer into the center; if it comes out clean, the bread is done.
