Tawa Garlic Naans

#kids
#cookpadindia
There are only two things that describe this melt-in-mouth Naan. One is the lovely texture and the other the goodness of Garlic and Butter. Basically Naan is more like Pita bread. Made with yeast, this bread is fluffy and filling. Effortlessly prepared, enjoy it in an elegant nawaabi style. Make sure to use a Steel pan or an Aluminium tawa or pan whichever is available for best results. If unable to get any of these two, in such circumstances, use any old Non-stick old tawa. Non-stick doesn't work well for homemade Naans but nonetheless, you can still go ahead with it.

Steps
- 1
Dissolve Sugar in warm water. To this add yeast and set it in a warm place.
- 2
In a big bowl, add in the flour, oil, salt and milk powder. Once the yeast's done, use it to knead the flour. Let this dough rest for an hour in a warm place.
- 3
Divide the dough into six equal portions. Roll out each portion in an oval shape, making sure to maintain a particular thickness. Only that will ensure fluffiness. Press some finely chopped Garlic and little Coriander Leaves on each of it and roll to make it stick to the Naan.
- 4
Brush all the Naans with melted Butter generously. Set this aside in a warm place for about another 20 minutes.
- 5
Heat up your tawa. Make sure to apply some water on the side where there is no Garlic. Place the Naan on the tawa with the water side down. Cook on a high heat for 2 minutes. Flip the Tawa over and cook it directly on the gas now. One by one, cook all the naans, making sure to maintain a steady heat.
- 6
Once done, reapply some more Butter and serve hot.
