Cooking Instructions

We wash the chicken and then rub it with pieces of garlic with a little vinegar and then put black pepper and salt, seven spices, ground cinnamon, paprika, turmeric, and leave it for a period of not less than an hour, and when dazzling, it is a finger between the skin and the flesh as well.

Cook the rice,make the potatoes cubes and frying, and mix the rice with the potatoes and the peas.

Put this mixed inside the chicken and between the skin.you can use toothpicks to close the chicken.

Put the chicken in big pan and cook it in the oven about 2 hr at 400°F.

Hola friends!!! Here’s a little bit of nothing I made that just tastes so good I had to share. Plenty of leftovers to make a nice pot of this golden beauty. This is basic and can be made in any shape form or fashion. Add ons for days. I like peas in mine but today I went bare bones. I roasted the chicken and made the rice yesterday just so I could make this today.

This is inexpensive, but rich and flavorful. I use whatever i have on hand for the chicken broth, I'll use homemade, canned or bouillon and water, it all works really well. I use extra long grain rice from La Preferida Brand, because it gets so creamy. I make some green beans with onion to serve with it, cuz I like to mix it together!

So this is the grandmama version. Pay no attention to the picture. This is a leftover pic bc I forgot to take a picture freshy fresh.... Tip: if you're not one of 20 ppl in America to have minute rice then use 1 & 1/2 cups rice with two cups of water and cook halfway (about 5 minutes) then add that to the casserole. If you use this method cut the 2 cups water to be mixed in the casserole into 1 cup water
