I get a lot of satisfaction from eating chocolate most days (often for breakfast) and still knowing that I’m eating good nutritious foods. I found some hulled hemp hearts in Sainsbury’s the other day and although not cheap I couldn’t resist trying them. I really like them, they are soft and slightly nutty. Not as challenging a texture as the chia seeds for example and a good source of protein and omega fatty acids.

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. Pudding
  2. 1 tbsphulled hemp seeds
  3. 1 tbspchia seeds
  4. 1 tbspcocoa powder
  5. 2 tspmaple syrup
  6. 100 mlfull fat coconut milk
  7. Toppings
  8. 4 tsphemp seeds
  9. 4 tsproasted coconut
  10. 80% grated dark chocolate

Steps

    Whisk together the ingredients for the pudding and allow to sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours. You may want to add more maple syrup than I have depending on your taste preferences.

    Top with a few more hemp seeds, coconut flakes and chocolate before eating.
