Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  1. 10thin rice paper wrappers, cut into quarters
  2. Small shrimp
  3. Pork paste (for making Vietnamese sausage)
  4. Wood ear mushrooms
  5. Shallots
  6. Sugar, salt, and MSG

Steps

  1. 1

    Clean the shrimp and pat dry.

  2. 2

    Soak the wood ear mushrooms, rinse well, and chop finely.

  3. 3

    Finely chop the shallots.

  4. 4

    Mix the shrimp, pork paste, wood ear mushrooms, and shallots. Season with sugar, salt, and MSG, then mix well.

  5. 5

    Roll the filling in the rice paper wrappers to form spring rolls.

  6. 6

    Prepare fresh vegetables to serve on the side.

    Deep-fry the spring rolls until golden and crispy.
