Mango Kheer
Fusion of traditional kheer with mango is surely a hit.
Steps
- 1
Put milk to boil with cardamons, once boil comes add soaked rice and cook on very slow flame for at least an hour and keep stirring in between.
- 2
Use hand whisk or handblender to mix and blend the rice until rice are soft enough and blend completely.
- 3
Add sugar and condensed milk.
- 4
Adjust the sweetness as per your family's liking. I add burfi and condensed milk so I add the sugar accordingly.
- 5
Once the Kheer gets thick and nicely cooked add kewra water and mix the mango puree and mix it well.
- 6
Dish out and let it cool. Garnish with nuts and mango chunks.
- 7
P.S: cook on slow flame and for a good time to give a nice color and consistency to the kheer.
Also first add 4tbsp sugar then condensed milk and burfi,if needed then add more sugar as per your taste
