For dough :-1.Boil 6cup of water with 1cup sugar,salt,1Bayleaf.

2.Add Semolina and stir continuously on slow to medium flame.Cook the semolina till a proper dough is formed

3.Remove the mixture and allow it to cool down for 10-15minutes

4.Grease your palm with water/oil/ghee and knead the mixture to form a smooth dough.

For kakara Pitha stuffing:- 1.Heat a pan and add 1 grated coconut, 3/4th cup sugar, 1/2tbsp elaichi powder

2.Cook it until the sugar is completely melted and mixed properly.

For making Kakara Pitha:- 1.Grease you palm with oil/ghee. Take a small portion and make a ball. Flatten it to a disc.

2.Put the stuffing in the centre and cover it by bringing the edges to centre.

3.Roll it again to a ball and flatten to make a disc-like shape.Repeat this process.

4.Heat oil in the kadhai over a medium flame. Put 4-5 kakara according to your kadhai.

Flip when one side turned into golden brown,and cook it until both sides turn into golden brown and then take it out on a plate on an absorbent paper.

Serve warm.
