Ingredients

30  minutes+
2 servings
  • 4 ozspaghetti
  • 1 tbsolive oil
  • 1large crushed garlic clove
  • 1 canchopped clams, drained reserving liquid
  • 1med. tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1/8 tsppepper flakes to taste
  • 1⁄2 cup white wine
  • 1 Tbschopped parsley
  • 1-2 tspbutter

Steps

30  minutes+
  1. 1

    Saute garlic in oil until almost golden. Add the Tomato and simmer while mashing until soft then add the wine, pepper flakes, and Clam Juice.

  2. 2

    Cook until reduced to a sauce. Add Clams and Parsley, stir to blend.

  3. 3

    Cook the spaghetti and melt the butter into the sauce.

  4. 4

    Drain the spaghetti and mix it into the sauce. Serve with Parmesan Cheese.

Retired at age 55 and enjoying the mountains. I'm now 72, married for 50 years. :) I love to cook but I don't care if ingredients are Organic nor GMO, Gluten-free, low calorie, or low Cholesterol! And Never use low/no-Fat as I enjoy good food. I never take procedural pictures as most cooks know how to boil water and stir sauces.
