Peel off the carrots and grate it.

Heat ghee in a pan. Add grated carrots and mix it well. Cook it for 20-25 minutes on medium flame stirring in between. Add cardamom powder and mix it well.

Add milk. Cook it for 20-25 minutes on low flame. After it gets completely cooked, add sugar and mix it well. Add chopped almonds and cook it for a minute.

Take halwa in a bowl and garnish with chopped almonds and cashews.
