Plastic chutney is actually made from raw papaya. It looks like transparent plastic, so it is absolutely tasty, mouthwatering, delicious famous item in Bengal and some adjacent areas. Check.
Steps

Wash and cut the raw papaya finely or slice it very nicely and wash those sliced again.

Boil water and pour few amount of liquid milk and after few seconds remove the milk layers from the water to enhance the tastes of the chutney.

Boil the sliced raw papaya for few minutes and cover the pan. After boiling for few minutes, you will notice that the raw feeling of it has been vanished.

Keep aside the slightly boiled raw papaya and go to the next.

Boil water and pour amount of sugar and make sugar syrup for the chutney and pour the pre - boiled raw papaya to boil it again by adding cardamom and turmeric as per your choice.

Cover the pan at least 20-30 minutes to finish the plastic looking chutney.

After that, when the chutney will be prepared and thick type of that keep it aside in a bowl to garnish it with raisin, almond, pistachio and cashews (Here it is optional).

You can store the chutney in a jar for one or two days and serve it by pouring little bit of lemon juice or tamarind juice (This is must).
