Ingredients

15 minutes

  • 1 cupLittle milet Or samai
  • 3 cupwater
  • 2 spoonsGhee
  • 1smallPotato
  • as requiredAny vegetable which you eat in Navratri can add
  • 1/2tspDhaniya powder
  • 2Green chillies
  • to tasteSalt
  • as requiredBlack pepper finally grounded

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a kadahi, as we don't eat cumin seeds in navratri so I add dhaniya powder into oil. If you eat you can add mustard seeds also.

  2. 2

    Add chopped vegetables potato into it. Saute it for few minutes.

  3. 3

    Add water and all dry masalas like salt green chillies black pepper. When the water start boiling add millet. Cook for 10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Serve with cucumber raita and green chutney.
