Steps

Dry roast both the sesame seeds for about 10 minutes or till they give a soothing smell. Keep stiring so that it doesn't get burn.

Now, we need to make til patti set by set so that we can roll them easily.

Grease a wooden platform with the help of a ghee.

So for first set, take 1 bowl of sugar in a wok/kadhai. Let it melt. Keep stiring to avoid formation of lumps. Add 1/4th spoon of ghee in the sugar.

Once the sugar is melted, add 1 and 1/4th bowl of mixed sesame seeds. Stir continuously with a good speed.

Now pour the thick mixture on the platform and knead like the dough for 10 to 15 seconds with the help of hands.

Roll it with rolling pin. Quickly make the cuts as desired.

It will cool down within 5 minutes. Place them in another jar.

Now repeat this process with the same proportion for 3 more times. Remember the ratio everytime and repeat the steps again. Til patti is ready.
