This delicious burfi is made with chana dal and is very yummy in taste.
Steps

Wash and soak chana dal overnight.

Take milk in kadhai, add chana dal in it and start boiling it.

Cook till soft, keep stirring continuously.

When the dal is cooked and milk gets evaporated, let it cool down and then blend it in mixture grinder to a fine paste.

Heat ghee in pan, add chana dal paste and keep stirring till a nice aroma comes and ghee gets absorbed.

Now add sugar and cardamom powder and keep stirring on low flame till it starts to leave the sides of pan.

Take a well greased tray and pour the mixture and set it properly.

Decorate with almonds and pistachios, leave to set for an hour and then cut in pieces.
