Sieve the besan.

Adding water to it make the batter as shown in the image. You can add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder for colour.

Heat ghee in the wok.

Now, using tikti (an instrument used for making boondi), pour the batter on the top.

After this, tap the tikti quickly on the wok but carefully.

Now fry them from all sides and do not overcook them.

Strain all the ghee and remove the boondi in another vessel.

Now, make syrup using sugar and water in the proportion of half kg : 150 gm sugar. Heat it before the strings are formed.

Dip all the boondi in this syrup, mix well. Add dry fruits and store in an air tight container. Cover it with lid for 20 minutes.
