Ingredients

2 days
8 servings
  • 1 lb (0.5 kg)sturdy vegetables- cabbage, carrot, radish, cauliflower, etc
  • 2 Tbspsalt
  • 4 Cupscold water
  • 2 cupsVery hot water (to add to seasoning)
  • Seasoning
  • 1 Tbspgalic
  • 1 Tbspginger
  • 1 Tbspgreen onion
  • 1-2 tspred pepper flakes, or cayenne, or green chili
  • 2 tspsugar
  • 1 Tbspsalt

Steps

    Wash and chop your vegetables

  2. 2

    Soak your vegetables in cold water and salt. 8 hours or overnight

  3. 3

    Drain water. And squeeze out water from your vegetables. Set aside

  4. 4

    In a bowl add seasoning

  5. 5

    Pour your boiling water over the seasoning, stir with a spoon

  6. 6

    Add your vegetables, make sure your vegetables are covered by the water. If not add just a bit more water.

  7. 7

    Cover with plastic wrap.

    Let set out 2 days, then enjoy

    You can refrigerate after 2 days. Make sure your vegetables stay covered with the water.
