Ingredients

  1. Dough
  2. 2 cupsSelf raising flour
  3. 1/4 cupSugar
  4. 1/2 tspSalt
  5. 1/4 tspBaking powder
  6. 1/4 tspBaking soda
  7. 2 tspInstant yeast
  8. 1 tbsMelted butter
  9. 1/4 cupVegetable oil
  10. 3/4 cupWarm milk
  11. 1 1/2 tspLemon juice
  12. Filling
  13. 4 tbsButter
  14. 1/2 cupBrown sugar
  15. 1 1/2 tbsCinnamon powder
  16. Glaze
  17. 1/2 cupIcing sugar
  18. 1/4 tspVanilla essence
  19. 2 tbsMilk

Cooking Instructions

    Sift all dry ingredients

    Add butter and oil to the flour mixture using a wooden spoon

  3. 3

    Add milk gradually to form a soft dough

  4. 4

    Knead dough until smooth, 7-10 minutes by hand

  5. 5

    Cover dough and leave to rise in a warm place, 1- 1½ hrs

  6. 6

    Mix all filling ingredients and set aside in a cool place

  7. 7

    Mix Icing ingredients and keep in a cool place

  8. 8

    Roll dough into a rectangle

  9. 9

    Spread filling onto the dough

  10. 10

    Roll it up and pinch the seam tightly

  11. 11

    Cut the roll into 12 slices

  12. 12

    Place on a lined baking tray

  13. 13

    Bake for 15 minutes at 180° in a preheated oven

    Glaze and Graze 😋
