Ingredients

  1. 200 gramsPaneer
  2. 3Onions
  3. 2tomatoes
  4. 6-7 tablespoonsButter
  5. 1 tablespoonGinger garlic paste
  6. 1/2 inchCinnamon
  7. 2Cloves
  8. 1Cardamom
  9. 1Bay leaf
  10. 2 tbspRed chilli powder
  11. 1/2 tspGaram masala
  12. 3 tbspCream
  13. as required Water
  14. As per taste Salt

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly I fried paneer with butter in a golden color texture. Actually this is optional you can also add fresh panner.

    Next pour 3 tablespoon butter to a hot pan. Add onions saute them on a medium flame till they turn into light golden color. It takes 4 minutes.

    Next add ginger garlic paste saute it for 2 mins.

    Add cashew nuts and tomatoes again saute for 2 mins.

    When the tomatoes and onions are completely soft cooked. Turn it off the stove..

    Cool this completely and add it to a blender.Pour half cup water blend this mixture to a super smooth puree.

    Next heat a pan on a low flame with 3tbsp butter when the butter melts,add bay leaf,cloves,cinnamon and cardamom.

    Next pour onion tomato puree

    Add red chilli powder and garam masala.

    Immediately pour half cup water and mix well to bring it to a garvy consistency. If it is too thick you can add little more water.

    Add salt

    Add paneer

    Finally add 3 tablespoon cream and stir.

    You should get this thick creamy texture as you see the picture below.

    Transfer paneer butter masala to a serving bowl.Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.

    Serve Paneer butter masala with Chapati,Butter naan,paratha and roti.
