Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 CupPaneer Cubes -
  2. 4 TbspButter
  3. 2 TbspOil
  4. 2Bay Leaves
  5. 4Cloves
  6. 2Black Cardamom
  7. 3/4Onion paste -
  8. 1 TbspGinger Garlic Paste -
  9. 2 TbspDry Fenugreek leaves -
  10. 1/2 tbspTurmeric powder
  11. To TasteSalt -
  12. 1/2 CupTomato Puree
  13. 3/2 TbspKashmiri Red chilli powder
  14. 1/2 TbspGaram Masala
  15. 1/4 CupFresh Cream
  16. 1/4 CupWater

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt 4 tbsp butter in and oil in a pan. Add bay leaves, cloves, black cardamom and fry for 10-15 seconds.

    Add onion and saute for 5 mins.

  3. 3

    Add ginger-garlic paste, dry fenugreek leaves, and turmeric powders and saute for some seconds till the raw aroma disappears.

  4. 4

    Saute for 1 minute.

  5. 5

    Add salt and tomato puree. Cook covered for 3-4 mins.

  6. 6

    Add Kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala powder and 1/4 cup cream.

  7. 7

    Stir and mix well for 2 minutes.

  8. 8

    Add paneer cubes and mix well. Cook covered on low heat for 2-3 minutes.

  9. 9

    Add 2 tbsp cream, water, 2 tbsp butter and water.

  10. 10

    Mix well and cook covered till oil leaves the sides.

  11. 11

    Garnished with coriander leaves.

  12. 12

    Served with hot plain naan,garlic naan, paratha, plain rice, jeera rice or even peas pulav.
