Ingredients

30+ minutes
3 cups
  • 1 bottlecheap wine
  • 2star anises
  • 6cinnamon sticks (5 cm long for each)
  • 1 shotliquor (I used bourbon)
  • 0.5 cupmaple syrup (adjust to yourself)
  • 1orange

Steps

  1. 1

    Pour the wine and add the dry ingredients to the pot and stir. I kept the temperature at around 70C.

  2. 2

    (After about 10 minutes) Add the liquor and the syrup. Keep stirring.

  3. 3

    (Optional) Add 3 slices of orange

  4. 4

    Taste it while keeping heating it up until the taste is good
