Chicken tikka masala

Chicken tikka masala is a very delicious curry with marinated, roasted, smokey chicken chunks which are shimmered in a rich, flavourful creamy gravy. This is very easy to prepare at home you just need a few ingredients, time and lots of patience as it takes few hours for marination and preparation , the more time you marinate the chicken the better result you'll get. So here, I am sharing my recipe for chicken tikka masala.

I marinate it for 4 hours.
- 2
After marination it's time for make our chicken chunk little smoky, it gives your tikkas that authentic taste, for this put a burning charcoal on a plate place that plate on marinate chicken bowl, put some ghee on charcoal when it starts smoking cover the bowl with a lid and keep it for 5minutes.
- 3
Heat 1 to 2 tbsp of oil in a grill pan on medium flame and put the marinated chicken pieces and grilled it on low flame till both sides are become golden brown and crispy. Take them out from the pan and keep aside for latter use.
- 4
Let's make the tomatoes puree for gravy.... in a pan add 1 to 2 tbsp oil put one chopped onion, chopped ginger garlic sautee for few sec now add 3 medium size chopped tomatoes, Kashmiri mirch powder, cashew nuts, pinch of salt little turmeric powder sautee for 3to 4 minutes. Let the mixture cool down completely tham make a fine puree by mixing them together.

- 8
After 2 to 3 minutes open the lid and 1 tsp garam masala powder, kasurimethi powder mix them gently cook for 1 minutes more. To make kasurimethi powder dry roast the kasurimethi leaves in a tawa on low heat for 1 to 2 let it cool complete then crushed and it's ready.

Now the curry is ready garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, naan, parotha aur roti.
