Heat the ghee in a cooker, add the cashews, saute. Fry till golden brown, set aside.

In the same ghee, add the cumin seeds and whole garam masala.

Fry for a few seconds, then add the potatoes and the peas.

Add washed and drained rice, mix quickly.

Add the water and salt. Close and pressure cook upto 5 4-5 whistles.

Serve with raita.
