First arrange all the ingredients

Take a pan add grated coconut and sugar keep stirring and saute on low flame until sugar has melted.then add chopped dry fruits and essence.mix and saute one minute turn off the flame transfer it into a bowl.

In a pan take one cup water add salt sugar,fennel seeds and ghee.boil this water then turn the flame low and gradually add semolina keep stirring and cooked until it becomes and combined well when it take a form of dough and leave the pan turn off the flame transfer in a plate.let it cool slightly

Now knead the dough smoothly then divide it into equal part and make medium size balls.take a ball press it between the palm put one full tsp stuffing in the middle and seal the edges.press lightly and make a shape like pitha.

Heat oil in a kadhai fry all pitha in hot oil on medium to high flame.
